OVERVIEW

Sue brings a diverse and extensive career as a senior manager and director. Roles have included leading the international finance team in Oxfam, holding Finance Director roles in the social business sector and with a national NGO and as Managing Director of a UK based international company.

Sue has a wealth of experience of managing teams, working with boards and leading strategic change, as well as procuring social investment and growing one of the UK’s leading social investment organisations. Sue continues to holds roles of non-executive Director and Board Chair in the family foundation, social enterprise and housing sectors. Sue originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

APPROACH

Sue uses her experience in senior leadership positions and coaching practice to support individuals and groups in a method which combines coaching with mentoring.  She uses a gentle approach which gives time for all voices to be heard whilst also challenging thinking and world views to enable new perspectives to emerge. Sue has worked with a wide range of organisations and individuals and focuses on building relationships for organisations to thrive.

PERSONAL

Sue has lived in Oxford for over 25 years, having met her husband when both were working in Oxfam.  She has three children.  In her spare time she grows vegetables, swims in the Thames when it's warm and clean enough, and is active in the environmental movement.
